Although this garment looks nice and smart, it is not for active outdoor use. It does not breath, and you get soaked when you do even a mild outdoor activity. Moreover, it is not durable at all. I have worn mine just a few times, and the inner lining began to peel away as seen in the photo. In my humble opinion, it is not a piece of outdoor clothing, merely a casual urban rain jacket.

I bought this jacket at Academy last year for one of our heavy rain storms here in Houston. After about 15 minutes I am very damp and will get soaked within the next 30 minutes. Still looking for a raincoat that keeps me dry. It's made well but it just doesn't keep you dry.

This product surpassed my expectations in terms of a water-proof outer layer. I was kept warm and dry while still being able to regulate temperature with the under arm openings. I would highly recommend this product for any outdoor activity where rain or snow might be expected.
